COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Statement

As the current public health crisis unfolds, the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our VACO community is our top priority.

In line with Government guidance and advice on the extended need for social distancing, it has become clear that the arts and culture sector will be amongst the last to return to something like normal.

At the same time we have been working hard behind the scenes to offer you an alternative online opportunity for creative music-making which will include one to one tuition, instrumental classes, pre-audition workshops, talks on professional development as well as a number of webinars by invited guests amongst other items. Please see the details of our exciting VACO Online Summer Course on the website (

We hope that many of you will join us on this new journey and perhaps make some new musical discoveries as well as encounter some old friends!

For many small, charitable organisations like ourselves, COVID-19 presents us with great challenges but we are committed to responding with creativity and resilience so that we can face the future with optimism.

More than ever before, however, we are going to need our friends and supporters in the coming weeks and months to help us navigate our way through the current, rapidly changing crisis.

We have set up a special PayPal account ( and any donations would be most gratefully received.
